This coin appears to be UNC. Any ideas on the grade and value.

That year is quite common in MS condition. I would put your coin at a high AU at best due to scratches on the obverse especially on the face.. It does have pretty toning going for it. So about $20-$25 range. Just my opinion...

Hold on to it ,and learn.. right now , in these parts, $30 gets you a common date BU...Good luck

 to CCF! I agree with mid AU. I can honestly say that I have overpaid for coins, especially before joining CCF. Stick around and hone your skills. This is a great educational site.

For me the obverse keeps it at AU-53. Too bad about the several heavy hits on her face. If not for those it would appear to me to be a very nice AU-58.
