Nice! Of all the neat stuff I've found in change I have never gotten hold of a Lincoln Cent of any interest (other than a few wheats).

That seems to be a spot tat has an inherent weakness, I have found Cuds like that in the same relative position on plated cents of 1982, 1983, 1984 and 1985.

You found a nice Cud! See if you can find others as well, they make a neat little set:-)

I found a Retained Cud in that same spot on a 1984 once...that's as close as I have ever been to finding an actual Cud.

Awesome! Actually found something that wasn't Machine Doubling...guess it does pay to see what you have in your pocket!

I take it these don't come long too often?

Look at my statement above. In my lifetime I have been through over a million cents and haven't found one. Yes, they are scarce.

Nice find Nelrak!

I've found 3 small Cuds in about that same location in the last year since I started roll hunting. I just sent them to another member of this forum to sell for me.

Wow! I have thought about it and I am going to send you this cent, Chuck. If anyone deserves one, I'd think you do! It's going out in the morning mail!
