My coin, I think, is a later die state than the one on coppercoins and has more wear. Only one marker is visible - and just barely at that! The overlay images are used with permission from coppercoins and can be found here: http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...ie_state=lds

I am not sure that anyone will agree with me on this attribution! I would be pleased to hear opinions one way or another!

1MM-017 is part of a nomenclature system used by coppercoins to identify a specific mintmark. If you go to their Index for 1945-S cents here:
http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diet...pe=mm&page=0
you will be able to see the numerical progression in their system. It is simply an artificial system and perhaps its only significance is that it may be the 17th mintmark they identified in the 1945-S series (not sure about that).

You can see on their page for this coin that they indicate it is the same one as WRPM-008, which is the ID placed on it by Wexler. This one can be seen here:
http://www.doubleddie.com/307785.html

(You have to scroll down to find it. You can see he has it on his top 100 list.)

CONECA lists it as RPM-17. Looking at their information, you can see that this coin would be stage C.

Hope this helps answer your question.
