I was looking for some information on a coin I found while working and was wanting to know if it is a token or coin if it could be real or if it is fake value if it has any I don't collect coins or anything like that so any help would be great thank you

It is suppose to be a silver coin from China

My first impression is that it is a commonly faked coin.

See if it will stick to a magnet. If it does, than it is fake.
If it doesn't stick to a magnet .. It still could be fake.

Those coins are highly faked haha. I have never seen one that was real. Though I'm not a expert on them. We see what the others say. There are a lot of fantasy type Chinesse crown sized dollars in production right now. I was given a chance to buy a fake one at a coin store for $1 in the token area but I ended up passing.

I concur a forgery. The split in the wire rim top dead center of the first picture proves that. Check the edge - the reeds will likely be split top and split tailed. Typical Chinese non-silver forgery.

I always forget to look for weakness in the reeds it was so obvious. I usually just always stick magnets to them. I not interested in Chinesse coinage but I see them at antique malls a lot. Always like seeing if they stick
