Hey guys

I recently purchased this 1893 dime , I'm thinking it should make AU ...
I know these photos aren't that great but there are still some traces of luster on the obverse , the reverse has a bit more luster left ...

So what do you guys think ?

Thanks for the kind replys everyone :)

This coin was listed as a EF coin , once I received it and looked it over in hand I thought it was at least AU 50 ...
The coins has no hairlines or any signs of a cleaning , I was a bit concerned with the lack of luster on the obverse kind of just traces and small patches here and there .. Now the reverse has a decent amount more mint luster remaining ...

Off topic a bit but about twice a year I round up a submission for ANACS and was planing on throwing this one in !!
So do you guys think I'd have a good shot at a AU 50-55 problem free grade ?

Thanks again

Is it slabbed already or raw?

I'd submit it. You have a shot at a slider grade in AU53 - 55 range IMO. In a righteous holder, especially a PCGS, it's a $75 FMV coin and maybe a few more bucks.

Great pick up

I picked it up raw for about 30 bucks , by the time I pay ANACS fees I still wouldn't have over 50 in the coin ..
If I wait until one of their special I wouldn't even have that invested and shouldn't have a problem recouping that money if I was to ever sale it ...
If it will indeed grade Auish ..
