1901 Indian Head Cent - Any Chance This Is A Proof?

Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 01/29/2016 5:43 pm While it's probably not, I have this lovely toned 1901 Indian Head cent that raises a bit of curiosity on my part that it may possibly be a proof. It's exceptionally well-struck, with highly reflective luster and smooth surfaces with just a tiny mark or two. It really shines in the light. The rims are sharp, but I'm not sure if they're sharp enough to make it a proof. But, I thought I'd ask. The photos really don't capture the colors and luster.
