If I am looking at the Whitman (Bowers) book correctly I believe the variety is: Martin 2-E, W-1278. There is no "dot" after the date. Likely a details coin with the crumbed edge but these things are hard to find with any eye appeal. What do you think? Please grade. Report this Post to the Staff

That being said, this coin is quite scarce and as you noted they are difficult to acquire in any decent grade at all, much less one that's presentable as yours is. I'd love to own it.
