That is an awesome looking coin for 70 bucks. I am fairly sure its an N-23 which I believe is an R-5 coin. Pics are not great for parts of coin but it looks like die state b with that rim Cud on lower reverse. Sharpness of coin looks AU to me. You need to send this coin to Grellman to have him attribute it. Costs a buck. Someone with a EAC price guide could give you a value on it but I would say its worth several hundred if I am correct.

R-5 means 31 to 75 examples known. Big premium over more common coins.

Now that's what I call cherrypicking. Send some of your luck my way, please :( Gorgeous EAC AU55 sharpness, choice original surfaces and color. N-23, R5+; (old) CQR has R6- at $850 in AU50. Grellman die state B ( Cud has formed.) Census has several MS62's. To further accentuate the sharpness of the strike, by the time the Cud has formed, the stars are usually flat and the date is starting to disappear at the 18. Yours is fully intact and sharp. An EAC member working on a '52 variety set, or just in general, would probably pay 13-15x your purchase price or more. A MS62+ #2 CC hammered at just over $1k. Bob needs to see this one.

Beautiful exciting coin. Appears to still have a little red around the recesses, Easy 55. Love it.
