Very nice! The early history of Canafa and connection to minting of British gold sovereigns is also very interesting but I've forgotten the exact details.

Very nice! My grandma gifted me one at my birth. I believe 1911 too. But it's got a counterstamp (Where I'm from, I think government stamps them after they buy them from the British and before selling them to the people).

Edit: Forgot to mention, show us the $5 as soon as the pics turn out well

i will try tomorrow, it is a BoC hoard coin. the color is nice as well as overall condition but its hard getting good pics through the capsure and the creverse side is cracked on the capsule. if youd like to see some pics of my coins, go through my recent threads...
