I found a new 2015 penny with what appears to be a Cud error above the date. But I need a experienced persons opinion. Thanks

Plating bubbles, caused by an impurity on the zinc blank before it was electroplated. You can also see smaller bubbles around the date and the back of the head. They are extremely common on 1980s Zincolns and seen less frequently on newer issues.

plating bubbles. Also, the term you were looking for is die break. A Cud is a break that involves the rim.

Plating bubbles are usually not considered of value on any of the zincolns, regardless of the date.
