colonialtokens Pillar of the Community United States 840 Posts	Posted 02/02/2016 8:34 pm The site mentioned above is the most comprehensive and exhaustive reference for the 1859 narrow 9 ONE CENT coins. However, your coin will not be mentioned on that site as it not a narrow 9, but rather a 9/8. A few years ago Mr. Turner published a couple tomes specifically addressing the 9/8's. Mr. Turner's work is not on-line, but in hard copy form. For the most part, the works of the two authors do not overlap and the user must reference the proper source for proper attribution. doug Report this Post to the Staff
