I got a 1942 tombac nickel with tiny green spots between letters. What can I do to remove ot and stop the corrosion? The coin have no more lustre on it.

Thanks!

Verdicare is what works best and stops further damage.

Nice if you can get these in MS60 or better.
I have a nice type set of them, George V to Elizabeth 11, 1967 in MS.
Paid a little over the odds for my Tombac Beaver.

VerdiCare OK

The damage beneath the green is done it can't be reversed.
These coins are so inexpensive that unless this particular one has special sentimental value you can replace it for a couple of bucks.
Verdi-Care would likely do the job but you can buy a certified MS64 for less than the price of the product.

For wildflowerAB
I don't believe it's available from any Canadian supplier.

I have also seen it available to Canada on ebay
