Not an original. Cast copy, perhaps. Very crude even compared to the originals.

Could be a contemporary counterfeit --usually cast

Cast, off pot metal of some kind fake.
If you hit this with a hammer a few times, you'd have small pieces.
Modern copy..probably early 1980's.
