1967 Gold Toned Quarter-Not A State Quarter.

Goldwash New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 02/08/2016 4:33 pm Hellow! Another 'brand numismatist' here(really bad pun), I know! I have received, as change back, a gold toned Quarter. It appears to be a regular, common quarter. Washington on one side, eagle on the other. The coloring is very thin, but does not seem to be tampered with. (Having said that I should add I have no experience from which to draw. None!). I tried to wipe, then soak off the coloring, which did nothing to change toning. I have found info on several varieties of gold toned quarters-various states, and $20.00 half dollar etc. This coin seems normal on every level...save for the color. The date on this coin is 1967.
