Hi everyone
I was going through some boxes of old family stuff in the loft and came upon a rather unusual coin, in amongst a box of old danish krone.
I'm not a collector and know nothing about coins/numismatics so to us it was unusual anyway!
I tried looking for the Kraus & Mischler World Standard World Coin Catalog books in our local library but couldn't find those books. Apparently they're the main reference for coins like this.
I just wanted to know a bit more about it, and whether it is of any significant value?
Here are 2 pictures. I scanned the coin which I think makes the pictures look blacker. The coin seems to be copper and is dark brown in colour.

ebay which gives me a great amount of detail:

Krause and Mischler reference is KM# 244
The item description only seems to show if you view in Internet Exploder, I was using FireFox and couldn't see the description.
The coin I have has 2 differences from the one in that
ebay listing, one difference on each side.
According to a work colleage, who speaks Arabic and is extremely knowledgable in African stamps, the 2 differences are:
1) Mine is a 10 Para coin as opposed to 20 Para
2) Mine was minted on the 4th year of the Sultan's accession as opposed to the 10th year
Could anyone look this up for me and give me the Krause and Mischler reference # and an idea of any value the coin might have?
Thanks
Ben
