Quote: Love the 1821 CBD (have you attributed it yet?), It is a Variety -6 fairly common. I'm looking to pick up a 1811/09 dime this Weekend from Great Collection if all things goes well. The sale price is VG-08 selling for $400 and there is an VG-10 up for auction near the same price at this time. Quote: Just hope she doesn't find out about this forum/thread.
If I get caught, I'll just have to buy her something shiny. Quote: Man, you've been busy! No, in the Winter time the business sales are down so I have more time to spend on the Internet.

John, both the 1811/09's are very nice, even if the VG10 has slightly better eye appeal. You would be happy with either, so best of luck.

The difference in price was a total of $62 but it is well worth the money. Also picked up a 1815 quarter in G-04 as well. Can wait for these to come home.

Glad to see you got the better coin. That VG10 has a lot of eye appeal and seems quite conservatively graded as well. 1811/09 is a scarce issue in the CBD series and a sought after coin. Due to reverse die failure, the reverse is often weakly struck as we'll as showing extensive die breaks.

This book is really small(5x8) and it was purposely made for travel. This is like the Mighty Mouse of the reference book, it packs great photos and easy to locate varieties. 1824/2 JR-1 from Rich UHrich Got this lot from: PCGS Message Board. Half without date and the 1818 cleaned. 1821 and 1827 are both fair or about good. 1829 and the 1819 are the two coins that I was after. ebay has a 10% offer, so time to shop again.

Yes, another lot of nice capped busts, specially the quarters and dimes. I like your taste in coins.
