Hello community,
Found this coin and just wonder if it just a die that minted one to many coins. The reverse wheat stalks have matching issues. How does that happen?
Also a nice lamination on the skull as well..

Top of head I think is a retained interior die break-see what others think?
Rest in Peace

For sure, that is one die that couldn't have lasted much longer. It was really falling apart. Neat find and good photos.

Hi Tommyjet,

Nice photos, and now I am curious, what do you use for photographing? I am looking at a 800X HD 720P 3D Digital Zoom 8 LED Microscope. But it is about $100 and I don't really want to spend that much.

Hi Renee,
I use a usb microscope made by Celestron Pro .. $85 on major online store. It does ok but you can ask members here what they use, cause some of them have amazing pics.

Machine Doubling on the motto and nose. Die chips on the wheat grains on the reverse also die cracks.
