1967 Kennedy Roll Coin Not SMS Graded PCGS

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6381 Posts	Posted 02/07/2008 1:19 pm Hi Amac, I see faint abrasion marks on this coin, on Kennedy's cheek and jawline and behind the eye. These are the high points and are the first areas to show friction. It's likely just from rubbing against the next coin in the roll, rather than from circulation wear, but IMO this evidence of friction would limit the grade to AU-58. Report this Post to the Staff

It could go higher, but the toning on the coin makes it look cloudy, and detracts from the eye appeal to me. Report this Post to the Staff
InfiniteInterest Pillar of the Community United States 673 Posts	Posted 02/07/2008 8:28 pm I think this coin will grade pretty high, there's not alot of marks on the obverse and the reverse looks very well struck with a clean shield.
