I am trying to get a value of this medal. We have a letter from the Dutch Gov't describing the medal and a newspaper article (in Dutch)regarding the flight and medal.

Here is such a medal - don't know, of course, whether that is the same kind as the one you have: http://www.treasure-hunt.nl/index.h...t=p_884.html

The description says there are four signatures on the other side. Bronze, diameter 42 mm. The price at that site is €39, about $56.
