I have a number of Indian coins that I've had no luck identifying from books. The first is this Small gold coin. About 9mm in diameter

the pictures on your other thread are good. Can you retake these pictures to get the coins larger?

The coins are the same resolution as the other post. It's just that the coins are smaller. They were scanned at 600dpi, which is about as good as my scanner gets.

Lets see if these work out better.

If you can't find them in books, how do you know they're indian?

They were purchased from a jeweller in Koltata, India who bought them from someone off the street. He was planning on melting them. It is possible they are from somewhere else, but unlikely.

I just got an email from someone saying that the second set of coins (item 350) is possibly from the Amirs of Sindh. From the pictures of some coins in Wikimedia, that does look like a possibility.
