Any help with rarity, values etc would be great guys.

The peg leg, I think, is the rare "off at the knees" variety

The 72p's are all talon heads. Don't know why they didn't put that in the column. I'm guessing they just didn't have room and went with the reverse type over the clashes in the column maybe? I just hope they are labeled as talon heads! That was the whole point of this submission

The 71d talonheads are what they are. Nothing special but I did get a double

The 55p jeff is a black beauty so I'm hoping they didn't put BB in the colum because it's an error and not a variety. We'll see if it's labeled as such though

The 50d was an Impropper alloy mix or Impropper annealing "woody" as the consensus here said and I belive mike diamond agreed. Thing is ken potter said it was from an overdip causing the copper to migrate to the surface... It didn't get a details grade so I'm hoping, like the 55 black beauty, that it's an error instead of a variety and will be labeled as such

The 43 War Nickel I thought was an unlisted DDO. Guess not but I'm curious how I missed tooling on it

And last was a 66p kennedy I thought might be an unlisted new DDO. Guess not but I think it's a good variety. I can't find much about it with a cursory search though

I'll list pics when I get them in hand. I'm super excited about the 72p talon heads! There is one on ebay with the t3 reverse for over 2k. However that one is an NGC ms66 and apparently the finest known but I do have a 65 and if he's right about a population of only 20 I think I may have just significantly bumped that up with my 6 but like I said I HOPE they are labeled as such

Again, any help on the specifics of any of these would be awesome guys or why the talon head isn't described on the 72's or if I'm right about error labels not showing on the website page in regards to the nickels

So, How'd I do overall? Was this submission a score... or a boring snore lol

I think you have a very interesting bunch of coins there.

I am very curious about what the labels will say.

Also did you pay to have variety added.

Or did you just write on the submission form what you
think the variety is.

On my black beauty nickels I just wrote that on the form.

Either way ... I think these coins will be a good addition to your collection.

I think I would have done it that way.

I wonder when they will make it back to you?

Technically yes but they are all varieties or errors. If I just wanted straight grades the cost would have been a mere $145 for 14 coins however I needed to pay $7 each extra for 12 of them to label the variety / error and an extra $12 each for the other 2 to have them research the varieties because I wasn't sure which they were or of they were unlisted new finds.... anacs does label variety for free but only if they are in the RedBook or cpg.

Oh and the cost was really nothing considering those 72p talonhead ikes are super rare and desierable in the ike variety world.

Just like Delta wants everyone to go through Covington (Cincinatti), FedEx wants everything to go though Memphis.

Looks like they're gonna be delivered today or tomorrow at the latest. I've been super sick the last couple days with body aches and waking up in pools of sweat but I think it broke this morning so I'll be quick with the pics when they do arrive
