rocky Pillar of the Community Canada 2784 Posts	Posted 02/15/2016 9:39 pm Fixguy in 2005 the representatives from Holland came to Canada. to award metals the veterans. my father was one of them plus his 4 brothers. I believe that quarter is made out of pure silver. I am not 100 % sure but. there is some thing about that quarter. plus they were very limited. when Holland decided to do this. I think Canada was caught off guard. I know when my father was contacted it was quick and they had there metals. so the mint wanted to honour the veterans with a coin.
