While looking at coins today I found this:http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-750-x-25-...151696499654 If there were only 3500 sold where is this coming from?

I noticed that listing as well, it most certainly is puzzling. Near as I could figure, the stated 3500 were reserved for sale in Canada but that wasn't the entire mintage.

Fixguy in 2005 the representatives from Holland came to Canada. to award metals the veterans. my father was one of them plus his 4 brothers. I believe that quarter is made out of pure silver. I am not 100 % sure but. there is some thing about that quarter. plus they were very limited. when Holland decided to do this. I think Canada was caught off guard. I know when my father was contacted it was quick and they had there metals. so the mint wanted to honour the veterans with a coin. I believe it sold out very quickly.
