Sorry, but I am still a bit confused about this topic. I have some questions that need answering.

Are the PL in Regular Mint Sets the same as those found in the Deluxe Specimen Sets? Please explain.

NGC, PCGS, and other grading companies are using the notations MS for Business Strike BU, PL for Regular Mint Set PLs (Those that come in cellophane and in an envelope), SP for Deluxe Set or Specimen Set PL's, SP Satin Finish for those SPs minted from 1996 to 2012 with the striated pattern, and PR for Proof. Do you agree with these notations or is something incorrect about what they are doing? Please explain.

For my collection I am collecting PL from Mint Sets and PL from SP separately. Can you verify these three lists for me? Is anything missing? Is there an extra date added that does not belong?

PL from Mint Sets (PL/NBU Strike): 1953 (SF), 1954 (NSF), 1954 (SF), 1955 (Lg Denticles and SF), 1956 to 1964, 1965 (All 4 Varieties), 1966 to 1982, 1983 (Far & Near Beads), 1984, 1985 (Blunt 5), 1986 to 1995, 1996 (SP Satin Finish), 1997 (SP Satin Finish), 1998, 1998-W, 1999, 2000, 2000-W, 2000-P, 2002-P, 2003-P ((Old Effigy), 2003-WP (New Effigy), 2004-P to 2006-P, 2007 (CPS), 2007 (CPZ), 2008 (CPS), 2009 (CPS), 2010 (CPZ), 2010 (CPS), 2011 (CPZ), 2011 (CPS), 2012 (CPZ), and 2012 (CPS).

Specimen Strike (PL): 1920 to 1928, 1929 (Low 9), 1930, 1931, 1934, 1937, 1937 (Matte), 1938, 1944 to 1946, 1947 (Blunt 7), 1947 (ML with Blunt 7), 1947 (ML with Pointed 7), 1948 (A points to Lg Denticles), 1949 (A points to Lg Denticles), 1950 to 1952, 1953 (NSF), 1953 (SF), 1964, 1965 (Variety 1 & 2 only), 1967 to 1982, 1983 (Far & Near Beads), 1984, 1985 (Blunt 5), and 1986 to 1995.

Specimen Strike (Satin Finish): 1996 to 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001-P, 2002-P, 2003-P (Old Effigy), 2004-P to 2006-P, and 2007 (CPS) to 2012 (CPS.

I really just want to know if my lists are correct per strike type.

Thanks.

There are no PL Specimen coins.
PL, by Canadian definition, is not an appearance quality, it is a minting process.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Didn't you already start a thread about this? Were the answers there not to your liking?
