How do I get mint circulation rolls for 2016? I checked like 5 banks and all they had was re roll. Whats up with that?

Thanks :)

You just have to keep asking and hope for luck of the draw or order through the RCM Winnipegs bulk coin division one time fees plus shipping only worth it if you order boxes.

watch the till every time you buy groceries or whatever. If you see shrink-wrapped plastic rolls, ask if you can buy one. I try to watch when the drawer opens for the person in front of me, wait until its my turn to pay, and then ask the cashier if I can buy a roll BEFORE the drawer opens. Once the drawer has opened and closed its too late, don't even bother to ask.

If you're very bold, you can ask the manager at your grocery store or whatever if they have any RCM rolls you could buy; they keep huge quantities of coin in their office and they have to go in there and check for you (so its a big favor). I've actually had the manager person bring out bank boxes of coins for me to choose from!

except the mint does not roll coins per year. only when they do a commemorative like the flag or the poppy will you see this. You will likely have to put together rolls yourself.

I'm not sure 2016 rolls are out yet. I have yet to see any 2016 coins in my change either

All the dimes I got last week from the campus dining hall are 2016. I'm assuming they've got rolls, but I didn't look at the till.

I went to the Winnipeg mint 2 weeks ago and they didn't have any 2016's yet.... A friend of mine who lives in Swift Current has me pick up a few rolls of each denomination... The mint charges 5%. What I have found is that if I wait a bit I can usually pick up the exact same rolls minus the 5% fee. (The exception of course being the 50 cent rolls) If anyone wants rolls right from the mint by all means message me and I'll be happy to hook you up!

Next week I'll be picking up some more boxes so I'll look in those ones to see if there's any 2016's...
