Sitting here at my desk searching through another brick of cents. All the while roofers are replacing my roof so we can sell our house. Got my noise cancelling headphones on, and jamin' out to som Slade. Life is truly good.

Went through that hellish noise a few years ago --

When the roofers are done, tape a magnet to a pole or something and go get all the nails they left behind. It's no fun if the lawnmower finds them first.

Meanwhile -- happy hunting!

I sometimes put on YouTube playlists for 80s or 80s/90s greatest hits. Other times I listen to a movie on TV or a sporting event. Sometimes just a conversation with whoever is in the living room. My coin station is on the third floor mezzanine desk just above. Otherwise I have CCF and another half dozen coin sites on the computer.

Creature of habit.
Rest in Peace

Sounds like you have a plan.

I've been listening to Janis Joplin today.

I've set up all my playlists by artist and I go with whatever mood I'm in. Today has been Bad Company as I research some Roman Republic denari.

You have to understand, in my younger life, I managed music shops for almost 12 years.

My roofers brought a boom box --- all day it sounded like Mexican polkas.

I didn't mind at first, but I couldn't understand the lyrics and by the end of the day I wanted my tuition money back for two years of Spanish.

Noise cancelling headphones. Easily combats loud mariachi music, the sounds of pounding hammers, and works wonders on nagging wives.
