My name is Robert. I have been active in numismatics since 1958, and became a licensed dealer in 1964. I was a full time coin dealer for almost 30 years. I have written 2 books, and co-authored another. I am a specialist in early US copper coins, both colonial and federal. I am semi retired. I am fairly well known to the dealers and numismatists on the east coast. I restore antique automobiles, and in my spare time I "herd" camels.

I am willing to share information. Thanks
Rest in Peace

For those interested in my written numismatic works, I authored U.S.HALF EAGLE GOLD COINS 1796-1834 (in 1997), and I co-authored the 1992 rewrite of THE EARLY QUARTER DOLLARS OF THE UNITED STATES 1796-1838 (Browning). My other works were studies of the colonial coins. I am currently working on a book on an esoteric segment of colonial coins (die studies). I also am working on a die study of Marc Antony legion silver denarius coins.

And yes, I have a herd of over 200 camels.
