if you glare for 5 seconds it realy seems to turn into damage but thats just the optical illusion on this pic

That one is odd. I think the chance of two die chips falling in alignment like that is about zero.

I agree it's very weird to have two chips like that, but if it is damage, where did it come from? There is no damage to the surrounding areas.

Damage. Another coins edge falling on this one probably dented it. A die chip is raised metal. This looks lower, then raised closer to the steps.

Ok, this coin is totally playing tricks on my eye. The entire time I viewed it under the microscope, it looked like it was raised. Looking at these photos, it still looks raised to me. However, after reading your post, I looked at the coin from an angle using just a loupe and it is clearly dented. Damage it is. I'm still keeping this one, because I think it's cool.
