Just wanted to share, my first coin with 5 die cracks on the reverse.

And the FG is barely legible and you can just see the top half of Abe in the Memorial.

Thanks

That coin on the bottom right of the LM is large! I have one that goes from the rim, to the stairs, up the column and continues left on the top of the building. Check how far yours goes, might continue. Nice one :D

I have only run across a few that had a crack at each corner of the memorial. They were all 1983. May have very well been the same die.

It could be creeping up the steps and column but it is so hard to tell, it has a bit of clash going on - look how you can only see the top half of ABE. Anyways here is an pic of the columns.
Very cool.

Note the thinness of the columns on the last image. The over polishing took a lot of the fields away (making them shorter) and making the bays wider. Not a good thing for the die. Even the planter is reduced in width.

Thanks coop, with as goofy as this coin looks I didn't even think that an over polished die could actually get this bad, so that is why part of Abe is missing too then. There is practically no definition middle in the middle of the coin.

Thanks for the great input everyone.
