I've read the posts regarding this coin and didn't see anything regarding the actuality whether it's true doubling or not. There has to be some answer as I've come across 4 this week.

What are you seeing doubled. The branch of the olive leaf looks like something going on and also on the leaf beyond it. We would need a closer shot to see that area better to see what it is.

I cropped & flipped it. That's a Yes I'm seeing on the branch and leaves but there's one continuous feather on the bottom arrow as well.

I checked on variety vista and they have no listing for a DDR for that year. Checking on ebay one seller was listing one, but it is machine damage on some devices. If it were a doubled die, then all devices would be enlarged and not shelf like and flat looking like a step.
