What do you guys think of this species:

This is the normal mint mark
1975-D-Cent,-Rotated-D-Mint-Mark

This is the one I see with about 30 degree rotation of the D mint mark
1975-D-Cent,-Rotated-D-Mint-Mark

And here's one ontop of another:
1975-D-Cent,-Rotated-D-Mint-Mark

Am I just seeing things? I see one has a rotated D and the other is horizontal with no rotation.

Slight variation in position is perfectly normal, mintmarks were added to business strike dies by hand until 1989.

I do see the slight rotation of the mintmark. I believe the mintmarks were punched in the die after the fact, so the mintmarks will vary on each individual die as to position and shape.

The image on the right side of the two mint mark areas. I've seen some strange ones:
1975-D-Cent,-Rotated-D-Mint-Mark
Very low mint mark:
1975-D-Cent,-Rotated-D-Mint-Mark
