Any ideas? Kind of looks like and over date. It doesn't appear to be damage.

I would say PMD as your photo implies a worn and well circulated coin. looks like the last digit of date took a hit.

That was my initial thought too... But If it is PMD shouldn't the damaged be recessed, not raised?
