Zach, it looks a little like the beginning of a lamination break to me.

well the thing is, I have an uncirc roll of these and many of them have the same thing, or an earlier state.

Guess they have to be die cracks, then. If so, it looks like the die was about to blow.

I agree, it is a die" about to blow". I have several rolls of 2007-P cents that have the same "features". They all have on the reverse a small "bar" on the column7 side of Abe.

This has nothing at all to do with lamination - the head is a very common stress point that developed cracks during the late wheat era. These aren't difficult to find.
