Hi I have collected American silver coins for my whole life for investment and because each coin tells its own story, my first big purchase was in 2004 I got a sign on bonus and bought American silver coinage with the money the gov gave me, I became disabled due to an incident over seas that was back in 2006 and ever sense I have been pretty much retired, I was depressed that I was not longer in the service and did not want to do much after my discharge the wife knew I collected coins so she got from the bank 4 bricks of halves 10 bricks of pennies and a box or two of quarters, she said here do this to take up time well I did and it was so much fun, well I had to have surgery in 2009 and again lost my interest, now I am getting back in the game and searching pennies and quarter bricks... Anyways sorry for the poorly typed abut me in a nut shell. Thank you everyone for being so helpful.

Welcome! First off, thank you for your service! I think you'll find CCF to be a very fun, fact-filled place for all your numismatic interests. There are several threads regarding coin roll hunting finds that I'm sure would love to see what you've come across while searching. See you around! -Atlas642

Carson: to the CCF! I have never been in the armed services. You are a hero. I have developed a lifetime interest in coin collecting, across the whole of numismatics. I also have some problems (associated with severe grief, now living alone). My interest in coin collecting helps to keep me sane and connected to those of shared interests, the same as mine. Probably helps to explain the large number of posts that I have in many forums within the CCF.
