I am new here but have been a coin collector for 20 years.

I dont usually bother with notes except Silver Certificates but pulled this one from my wallet today.

2013 $5.00 FRN Star Note

MA 00076438 - A1

I was told that it was a better one by a friend who collects notes but is there any other value besides face?

It is crisp and no noticible fold.

Thank you

That bill you mentioned, if I'm correct, is actually from a 3 million print run, so it's one of the most common star notes you'll find. If it's uncirculated and you can set aside 5 bucks, I'd say keep it! Also, it has a somewhat low serial number which some people may pay a premium for, as I have a dollar bill with those 4 digits as the starting numbers,so goes to show how easy it is to find similar bills. But I'd say you have a keeper if that's uncirculated!

Unlikely to be uncirculated if you pulled it from your wallet, and in any event it's not worth the cost of sending to a TPG to find out.

Spend it - no potential here.

Thanks for the response.

I put it in a loader and filed it away for fun.

Thanks again
