Hi. I bought a roll of wheat cents at a local thrift store the other day (last thing I expected to see at a thrift store but I'll take it!) and this 1958 D is one of the few that has caught my eye. First for the obvious discoloration on the obverse and second, once I took a closer look at it under mag, it looks like there is "LP" under the the "PL" in Pluribus on the rev. Is this a type II counter clash? And what's the possible reason for the discoloration on obv? Are also some lines on top and bottom of rev. Would LOVE to hear what you guys think!! .....Always so helpful to newbies such as myself! Thanks. :)

Just a Wheat cent. Looks like it was cleaned to death. Just a coin to fill your wheat cents jar.
