No, you might be better off buying a Krause. There is a reason why they are still a hot seller and yet several thousand pages thick. You might try this site http://(131231) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed / for very common coins.
My partial coin collection http://www.omnicoin.com/collection/gxseries
My numismatics articles and collection: http://www.gxseries.com/numis/numis_index.htm
Regularly updated at least once a month.

There's several online sites which provide coin values for US coins at no cost. However, the values presented tend to be higher than the actual market value, with many qualifications. I use the PCGS Price Guide for approximate values and trends: http://www.pcgs.com/prices/index.chtml . A newer and perhaps more disinterested values guide is CoinValues.com http://www.coinvalues.us/ .

Printed guides such as Coin Values and Coin Prices magazines may be found in many WalMarts.

ALL price guides must be used very carefully since they may give a misleading impression of any particular coin's true value. Knowedge of the market gained after extensive observation is really the best guide.

If you have an ebay code that is the best place to find the price of anything
On gold coins in Europe after five years of rising goldprices the prices quoted in Krause are still wishfull hoping

Ever hear that you get what you pay for? For the "most" (don't bet the farm on these values, and always take with a grain of salt) accurate prices would be http://www.heritagecoins.com and http://www.ebay.com and look for prices realized.
Just keep in mind that auction prices are not 100% accurate as buyers are required set the price each and every time a particular coin becomes available.
ALL price guides should be used "SOLELY" as a guide. Do Not allow yourself to believe that any price listed will be an accurate assessment of your coins.

I know that this is tough to understand, but value is dependent on buyer and seller agreeing to grade, rarity, marketability, and value.
