ANA sold ANACS to Amos Press on July 31, 1990 for $1.5m plus royalties. This is the small white holder, two-letter four-number days.
ANA had used CD, JK, KP, LO, LP, MJ, NJ, RD, TR, TS, WD, WF, WR and XA.
Amos used PG, PK, SCX, SX, WE and ZD.
There are two combinations used by both... EX and RE.
The highest
ANA / Lowest Amos I've seen on
ebay, boards and/or in-hand at shows are
EX2470 (
ANA) - EX2701 (Amos)
RE3570 (
ANA) - RE4482 (Amos)
Conder has said that Amos continued to use the
ANA shells and hologram for a period (they would have needed to order new supplies including labels, holograms and shells with the Amos A embossed in them).
But I now have 'proof' being Amos labels/shells with s/n lower than
ANA labels/shells.

Does anyone have a true transition piece? This would be something like the Amos (green label) in a
ANA shell for example?
