That's a counterstamp. There are some collectors that collect these, but a single letter M is only going to reduce the value unless it has some historical significance.

At a mintage of 800 it is clearly rare. There is the issue of the counter stamp but being 208 years old and so scarce I would assume it is impossible to find ms examples,as the NGC has only graded up to xf. Hopefully that M doesn't lower the numismatic value much.

The M isn't original from the mint. Somebody will have an explanation for it, I'm curious now also.

like I said this coin bring from mozambique from privat collection. may be it was struck for it. not sure if somebody made it
