Hey guys

I pick this up the other day , I'm curious what you guys think on grade and condition ..
There are a few spots around the rim that do look kind of like dings but are actually spots of a darker color making it look that way ..

Nice coin. I'd say it's a solid VF-35, with a good shot at 40 (the hair is really nice).

Tell me, does the obverse look somewhat brighter than the reverse, which might indicate an old cleaning?

Yeah it's right on that VF/XF line. If the coin is problem-free then I'd say XF40.

We'll guys really hoping for a EF coin ..
Both obverse and reverse and pretty much the same color , if you hold them or get a photo at a bit of an angel their are some Gold and blue hues that show ...
I've look the coin over with a loop and can't see any hairlines that would indicate a cleaning ..
Here a few more photos !
I'm into this coin for about 35 bucks , so is it a keeper or should I send her back?

You did well for $35. I don't think it quite makes 40, but it's close. Skin looks original.

I'd be happy with it for what you paid. I think it's a really nice example.

Thank guys , I do like the coin ..
I do agree with you guys that it's kind of on the fence between EF and high end vf35 so for $35 I think that's not to bad :)
