Please provide full coin photos. Die clash usually occurs in more than one spot.

When I see I die clash on these quarters the clash is usually on the obverse or it is the letters that are clashed on the reverse,i have never found one where you could see it in the wings and to me it looks like it might be a double clash but I am not sure thank you for any help.

Hi Kevin - not trying to beat a dead horse , but a few tips to help you attract your fellow enthusiasts Date, mint, and coin type with issue: 1972D Washington quarter: Clash? Pictures: full obverse, full reverse both of which are cropped to remove clutter, pictures of the site(s) you are asking about Weight: sometimes weight will help with a diagnostic (Zincoln vs Copper LMC) It does look like you have a clash on hand. You should check out Maddieclashes to see if this has already been attributed. Good chance it has especially with regards cents or nickels you might find. Enjoy the coin!

Kevin - I did a quick check at maddieclashes. I didn't see anything for your date. Looks like it's a Typical die clash but the gents at Maddieclashes can give a better assessment/ruling. Reach them through their Contact link.
Good luck!

I do good to take a picture all that cut crop paste I think my son can do it but I can't and I posted 1965 quarter, there was no D or S for that year so I never thought to put a P for a mint mark, and I only try to take pictures of the area that will show the error because the rules say limit your pictures. The reason I done this post is I am not familiar with clash marks on the wings, I see two clash lines on the wing I am not sure if it is a single clash or a double.i do know the more clash marks makes it more rare.i know I need to work on my title I try to make it short,i guess I could have posted,is it a single or double clash.i am not like every one that has been living on there computer for 20 years I have only been on since nov.2015 and I come here to try and further my knowledge but people nit pic at me because I don't have good imaging well I have been on disability for 15 years I am a single father raising my son I can't afford a good camera much less a computer I hate my pictures but there the best I can do with what I have.

It is a die clash and an odd one at that. Is it possible for you to send it down to me? Please PM me if it is possible.
