I'm a little (ok a lot) confused of grading this coin. its shows wear but there is alot of red? Does this mean it was cleaned? Treated with something?

this is wrong color red. most likely from the reaction of the cleaning agent and the copper. coins tone fairly even and do not exhibit this type of blotchy color. the original surfaces have been removed.
