Erinbgilbert New Member United States 30 Posts	Posted 02/28/2016 12:27 pm Soo I've been researching error coins for a while now and just recently started going through some of my late grandparents old change. I'm obviously still horrible at this and need help spotting errors if there even are any. I know I read somewhere about the 1971s could be special so I figured I'd just post some pictures! I know it's not good quality, but I'm just getting started at this. I will also be posting a few other coins as well, so be on the look out for those! Thanks y'all! Report this Post to the Staff

May I suggest that you study this forum's posts and also: http://www.error-ref.com/ to learn what types of errors are out there. Then if you find something suspicious, post it and ask questions. One very nice Proof doubled dies: 1971S-1DO-001P http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds 1971S-1DO-002P http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds While these two different proof dies look the same, Not the 'L' on LIBERTY. They are different dies. Many business strike doubled dies as well. Probably the second interesting years for a number doubled dies was 1971.
