I've been scouring the internet for any information on this coin but have uncovered nothing. I'm sure with all of the knowledge on here someone will have some information or could guide me in the right direction.

It's a 1900-06 10 Cash kwang-tung coin.
Obverse: counter stamped - 2 C A M 1 09
Reverse: 7253

It could easily be something somebody with a set of punches made in their basement.

Everything imaginable has been done to coins over the years.

I thought it might have been just pointless counter stamping, but I was hoping as we all do that I had come across something at least a little interesting.
