I was right, the price on the circ box went up this week...This one cost me 16.50. I did get a couple 1921's for 13.75....so very close to melt I could not pass them up, if I had 1000 dollars I would have bought them all ! Those will show up later.
This coin is actually white ! Yes a couple small tone spots but that's it. When I look at prospective buys, I usually have to weigh grade, eye appeal, value , and need. This one came under the value first since it is average in the other respects IMO, and I don't really need the date. . There is alot of doubling on the reverse, the only good picture I could get was of the doubling on the arrow shafts and the olive branch leaves. The right wing is also doubled and much of the wreath near the bottom.Obverse doubling... gonna have to scope that, if you get the VAM on this one you might be able to figure out why.

Took this to the B&M this week and looked at it under the binocular scope , there is no "quintupling" of the stars on the obverse so not a VAM 24. Will call it a VAM 11 .
