This coin caught my attention because of the extra thickness of the lettering (or should I say "devices"?) What do you think? Is this a DDO?

The devices on that era were normally a bit larger than other years, but this one also received a beating from circulation.

A good part of the PSD on your coin is from wear. The more the devices (yes devices), are worn, the wider they appear - because they are wider the closer they are to the field.
