1941-P Jefferson nickel WDDR-001

http://www2.briansvarietycoins.com/...ngs/view/431

This 1941-P Jefferson nickel has some kind of funky tiger stripe like toning but also has some nifty Distended Hub Doubling but I also had twist angle to show that it also has separation.

Not a big find for the day but very interesting

especially the distended part of the U in Unum

Separation in bottom on UNUM on this one looks very nice compared to example

looks similar to ddr-001 but is not and most likely an unlisted one

It is a late LDS coin. That is the die flow you see on the edges next to the rims of your coin. The WDDO-001 shows a spread. On your coin all I see Die Deterioration. Here is a side by side:

See if this helps?

correct I don't belief it's any of the listed varieties looks like just minor DDR.

Coop oh I see I should worded top post better.. I put that at bottom of instead above the 001 stuff...

I was just basically wondering if it still DDR?

I think it has the Class VI distended part on the U's in unum and minor spread on bottom n and m

on these unlisted I just like to double check to note on 2x2 or throw back

Certainly a neat looking coin and I can understand your questioning it.

The second set of images show a minor DDR on UNUM bottom legs of these devices. But the angle has to be just right to see. You will probably have a hard time finding a match for it though.
