Struck by or for the California State Numismatic Association for one of their semi-annual conventions in 1962. This group is still active http://www.calcoin.org/index.html

Still can't find anything on this one... Tried emailing the President of the California State Numismatic Association but no response. Really interested in this one. You would think with so many numismatists out there this would be easy to get the story on...

The portrait of Lincoln appears, at least from the angle of the photograph, to be very similar to a Calverly design dating to 1898. His work has been copied many times.

Are there any markings on the piece at all . Also pics that are direct on views would help also. Have you measured the diameter and thickness, or weighed it ?

There are no other markings. It is kinda thick... have not measured it or weighed it. I was hoping someone would have an idea. I really like this one. Don't know what it's made out of either.
