19th century Zanzibari Pysa, I believe.

Looks like a 1 Pysa coin from the British Protectorate of Zanzibar. My Krause is pretty out-dated, but likely value is a couple bucks.

Correct: Zanzibar Pysa 1881 and by the looks of it I'd say no real money in it at all. Most all I've seen are much better condition and don't cost much.

Interesting fact: These coins are quite sought-after here in Germany by collectors of German Empire coins or collectors of coins from German colonies. That is because the Pysa coin served as model for the 1 Pesa coins that have been minted in the German colony of East Africa.
