2014-P Nickel Weird Gold Colored Finish

I found two of these nickels that have a goldish colored finish to them they look like they are in good condition without anything being spilled on them to cause this here is a pic of the better one of the two

In rare environmental conditions, new copper nickel coins will tone to a gold color.

The sulfur content in the air can turn a coin yellow in color if it is silver colored.

The coin was likely in circulation long enough to pick up some oils from the hands that touched it. The oil from are hands is amazingly corrosive to most coin types.

This one probably just sat long enough for the patination to take effect, sometimes called toning.

It is completely normal and does not add any extra value to the coin.
