I really enjoy this design, both obverse and reverse. This one is a little dull with slightly soft detail but overall a nice piece. Cyzicus Mint.

This is one of my favorite reverse types with the two captives either side of a standard. While rough, this is a scarce type for the London mint, and affordable as a result. Enjoy!

Very nice coins!

Is it just the wear on the coin, or is Constantine II wearing a radiate crown?

The facing quadriga is a very attractive design.

Did any other emperor than Probus use this design?

nice detail on the first one, one of that type is pretty high on my list. nice coins EFLC.

i couldn't remember ever seeing any of these that weren't probus. I looked around a little bit and found a couple of rare provincial coins that have sol in a "spread quadriga", but it's not really the same thing.

I have not found this actual design elsewhere, but the motif is not limited to Probus. Here is a facing split quadriga reverse on an argenteus of Maximinus II:

Whether the later type was influenced by the form under Probus I cannot say for sure. Both may have been derived from something earlier than either. But if not, then it would seem the designers for Maximinus took note of something from the Gallic emperor. [Then again, the similarities in the obverses suggest to me that Max was leaning on Probus.]

I forgot about the Maximinus II. I should have remembered since I once owned one.
